This is very impressive. Nice work.
Do you have a binary to text translator? I may have overlooked it if you do.

Hi great extension..
any way we can increase the font size?
and ya,a couple of thoughts:
1. would be great if you could make the status bar button smaller or even better if you could make a toolbar button and let the user decide where to place it :)
2. make a keyboard layout guide.. something like a small window (that stays on top of the fx window) showing the layout of the language used. This would be of great use to users.

and yes, more languages too :)

thnx for the great extension!

As Jasir suggested, it would be nice to have a keyboard layout....

The keyboard layout can be seeing starting from version 1.5.0 by using the context menu or selecting Ctrl Shift K

I'm looking for an extension that will let me map the "Enter" key (or some other key on the numeric keypad) to the "Tab" key. (I have a web-based application that I need to frequently use to enter a bunch of numeric data and I need to move the cursor between form fields.)

Can anykey map keys like this? If not, does anyone know an extension I might be able to use?

Thanks!

I'm using regularly AnyKey on Firefox for writing Russian emails, browsing and searching in Russian web sites.

I would love it if AnyKey could provide a mapping to write Greek text by using Greeklish. On the Web there is really a lack of tools for Greek language and it would fit perfectly in Any Key.

If in future you plan to extend Any Key to support Greek here some links about Greeklish:

There is one addon for Firefox that is called "Greek textbox". But it lacks documentation and I would prefer to use one tool for different languages.

Anyway, AnyKey is already outstanding!

Keep the good work!

I've just seen that the links that I tried to post disappear. So instead you can just go to the English Wikipedia and search for "Greeklish".

the greek mapping is broken for N → Ν and r → ρ (both are translated into doubled unicode replacement character u+fffd); the following patch fixes it:

As of AnyKey 1.5.5, 1.5.6 I can no longer switch languages except right after installing before restarting the browser; the language menu is empty and has no languages listed. Pre-1.5.7 it was just stuck on my initially selected language, but now after upgrading to 1.5.7 Any Key does not work at all (nothing gets typed when AK is activated and no languages are in the box to be selected.) Same problem happening on both FireFox 2.0.0.3 and Mozilla FireBird 0.7 (both on WinXP.)

Feature requests:
A hotkey to cycle through the languages
Also, an icon in the status bar "button" area that shows the currently active key mapping.
Finally, the option to remove the status bar button (since it can be activated via hotkey)

it is possible that the choosen kepMap is "user-defined" so it is difficult to change it.Can you give a look at it by typing about:config in the url field of your browser?

if is the case, please reset the keys (all prefixed by anykey) and try again.

For arabic, the key map for words is correct, only for signs like:

= ( ) * |

thanks for the update. and how can i change it?

Stayfi, I did not undestand the question. Are you saying that arabic mapping is incorrect for =()*| or that it is only correct for =()*| ?

If you want to modify the mappings, in the URL address bar type about:config and search for anykey keyboard mappings.

Hi roman,
it's incorrect, in fact, there's no trace for those signs. other keys are fine. you can test.
thanks again.

It works great for me. But I'd like it to be removed from the account settings windows because it covers additional options and there's no any chance to see them with disabling the extension. I'm using the latest Thunderbird release.

Finally, the option to remove the status bar button,
Ability to turn on-the-fly covertion on and off with a key, like at
